Full organization access: billing, sites, integrations, team invites, and all inbox features.
Chat Operator plans for agent inbox seats, roles, transfer, departments, agent embed, AI suggestions, keyboard shortcuts, and portal guide — separate from platform billing.
Wiretalk sells the agent inbox as a separate product from the platform (widget, sites, omnichannel, knowledge base). Chat Operator plans control how many agents can join the inbox and which operator-only tools they can use — transfer, departments, agent embed, AI suggestions, and more.
Purchase or upgrade from Organization → Plans & billing → Chat Operator. Seats are counted separately from platform plan limits.
Platform plans (Starter / Growth / Scale) control widget, sites, omnichannel, knowledge base, ticketing, and related features. Both subscriptions can be purchased independently — you can run a free Solo operator inbox on a paid Growth platform, or upgrade operators while staying on Starter.
Full organization access: billing, sites, integrations, team invites, and all inbox features.
Manage widget settings, team, and most organization features. Cannot transfer ownership or delete the org.
Inbox-focused role: reply to chats, use unlocked operator tools, and view assigned visitors. Admin-only menus (billing, widget settings, integrations) are hidden.
Invite operators from Organization → Team. The in-app portal guide shows a dedicated Chat Operator tab with plan-aware tool unlocks.
Ticketing, omnichannel, group meetings, remote desktop, and performance analytics depend on your platform plan — not the Chat Operator subscription. See Billing & plans.
Operators can use inbox shortcuts for faster replies (shown in the portal guide Shortcuts section):
Operator subscriptions renew on the same billing intervals as platform plans (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly). If payment is past due or the subscription expires, your plan moves back to Solo (Free) after the grace period — the same rules as platform billing.
